Test Results

Reviveaire has dedicated significant time and resources to testing and certifying the Aireshield.

Prior to evaluating it in controlled lab settings, we tested our environmental air filter in real-world conditions. An earlier prototype of the Aireshield was installed in a residential home in Boca Raton, Florida, in three different rooms, connected to the supply grill of an existing HVAC system. Below are some of the test results:

Reviveaire partnered with AMC Engineering and Environmental Services, an independent air quality contractor, to conduct certified testing for mold spores and other pathogens. Using scientific instruments, AMC Engineering and Environmental Services measured the air quality before and after one hour of using the Aireshield prototype. The results, detailed below, show a significant reduction in harmful pathogens and mold spores.

ASHRAE Standard 241, 24-Hr Ozone Test

The Aireshield was energized in an ASHRAE 52.2 test duct, connected to a 1007 ft3 test chamber recirculating the airflow at 200 CFM for a 24-hour period. 

There was no ozone generation observed during this test period. The average ozone concentration over this 24-hour period was 2.33 ppb.
